Nursery Practitioner

My name is Caitlin Ward and I recently joined Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge as a nursery assistant in baby room. I look forward to forming relationships with children, staff and parents.

Even though I have experience in working with children, I am quite new to working in a private nursery setting and I am still getting use to my surroundings and routines.  However, I feel that working at Monkey Puzzle Uxbridge is going to give me a great start to my career.

I am in the process of starting my Level 3 qualification and then I am looking to move on from there. It is great that I am being supported in my development. I have experience in working with children of all ages as I have previously baby sat and done work experience in different settings including this one. During these times I have enjoyed seeing children grow and develop whilst helping them.  I am very excited about supporting children learn and grow which I find the most important part of my chosen career.

In my spare time I like to socialise with friends, have a good time with family, relax in my room whilst listening to music and go on days out/ adventures for fresh air and scenic views.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

•  GCSEs in Maths, English Language, Literature, Photography, Combined Science
• NVQ Level 2 in Childcare
