About Me:
Josie, our wonderful ballet teacher, will be leading her beautifully curated ballet sessions at our nursery every Friday morning.
Josie brings a wealth of experience to our setting, holding a Master’s degree in Performing Arts (Dance) and having taught ballet to children of various ages and abilities. Her strong professional background ensures that each lesson is thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate and engaging for all children. Josie’s ballet classes offer far more than graceful movement - they provide children with meaningful developmental benefits. Through gentle exercises, imaginative movement stories and foundational ballet technique, the children strengthen their fine motor skills, balance, coordination and body awareness. Ballet also supports emotional development, helping children build confidence, express themselves creatively and form stronger social relationships with their peers.
Her warm, encouraging teaching style creates an environment where every child feels supported, capable and inspired. The combination of music, rhythm and expressive movement makes ballet a joyful highlight of the week.
